I purchased this 944 sight unseen on FB Marketplace the winter of 2022 from its original owner. As he told the story, he walked into a Porsche dealership the spring of 1983 to purchase a 911. Business had been good and he was ready to treat himself. A golf nut, his eyes diverted to this pearl white 944 sitting in the showroom. When the salesman detailed the price difference and the cavernous hatch, he was sold. He drove the car semi daily from 1983 until 2010 when the car had 93,994 miles. Some gremlins with the fuel injectors and a water leak he could not trace caused him to park the car. And parked it was for 11 years. By this time getting in and out of his beloved Porsche posed a problem so he reluctantly employed his nephew to list it "on the internet." We agreed to a price 12 mins after their listing went live. The 944 arrived by transport 8 days later. It smelled like an old gym bag inside and definitely turned over but would not fire. I detailed it, and sent it to my friends at Euro Tech in Marietta, GA. They spent the next six months refreshing the engine, rebuilding the fuel system and fuel injectors, replacing all of the timing and ignition components, and attacking every rubber part and replacing them. I added the refinished Cookie Cutter wheels wrapped in new rubber, and my friends at Auto Cool in Smyrna GA retrofitted the AC to R134A. I added a Continental sound system and new Kicker speakers. I found the water leak - the common 944 issue of the hatch delaminating and separating, as well as the sunroof drains being clogged. The drains are fixed, but I now need to address the hatch. In the meanwhile I removed the carpet and all of the sound deadening. The upholstery itself is like new so once the hatch is repaired and the car repainted in its original pearl, I'll install Dynamat and new carpeting. Other things completed include rebuilding the plastic keys that power the speedometer and odometer, replacing the DME, and upgrading the fuses. I have over $22K in receipts to date. My plan is to repair the hatch, respray the car, install the interior, and just enjoy it. The only item I am not fully restoring is the dash pad. It is cracked, and for now I am only covering it with a plastic molded dash cover. Available as-is for $13,979 and once completed, I believe it will be one of the nicest early 944s in the Atlanta area. The price will increase accordingly.

I've always wanted to build my kids a treehouse or a clubhouse, but I am not as handy with saws and lumber as I am with reviving old cars. So this VW Bus is turning into my kid's clubhouse. So you can't have this one. But if you've always wanted a cool old bus to display at your place of business, restaurant, or have one of these sitting near your fire pit at home to create the ultimate stay at home camping experience, I can make that happen. Projects start at $10,000 and you customize it as wildly as you can imagine.

This Euro spec 280SE was imported to the US from Germany in 1990. A model in the storied W126 chassis series, this 280SE was never intended for the US market so features German spec cloth interior, a manual AC system, and an inline 6 cylinder engine. The car has only 69K original miles, and has a brand new exhaust system. The car has not run since 2019. Our refresh plan includes freshening the top-end of the motor, new belts, hoses, a new starter, and a new ignition system. All of the fluids will be refreshed, and if it is made of rubber, we plan on replacing it. We plan on repairing the dings and damage to the rear Euro spec bumper, refinishing the wheel caps, and restoring the paint. I don't know yet if that is an aggressive paint correction and some touch-ups or a complete respray. We'll do it right. Finally, we are giving the car a hidden Bluetooth sound system preserving the original look of the dash while allowing a modern music experience powered by your smart phone. This Euro-spec W126 will be ready for its next 40+ years of motoring. Inquire at sash@sashdrives.com for purchasing this project now and customizing it to your tastes.

The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is an icon. It has a more impressive IMDB movie appearance section than many A-list actors. The leather and corduroy interiors, the simulated wood grain, the lever driven 4x4 , the power rear glass pickup style rear tailgate - ALL of it adds to the charm and nostalgia that these old "Woody's" evoke. Your parents had one, or your friend's parents - or for that matter grandparents. You've seen one in your favorite movie or television show. I never planned on becoming an authority on these old Jeeps, it just sort of happened. In the last year we have rescued, revived, and sold four of them. This particular one is a Kennesaw GA accident and rust free example that was parked behind a house for years. The owner told me we would have to push it. I checked the fluids, brought a battery with me, fired it up, and drove it on to the flat bed. The Jeep is receiving a major mechanical refresh in progress. We have replaced the starter, alternator, ignition system, valve cover gaskets, and a host of other items. The original carb is being rebuilt. The cooling system is getting completely replaced. I have a brand new braking system sitting in my garage ready to install. Our plan for the winter is to replace the entire suspension and steering system including every bushing we can get our hands on. The real change is coming in the cosmetics department. I am changing the color to a Jeep Seafoam Green which was a compliment to the current Cordovan (Burgundy) interior. New wood grain, AC system, and sound, and this Waggy will be ready for its next home. Buy it as she sits for $9,979 or wait till it is car show (winning) ready by March, 2026.

During the Spring of 2023 I went shopping for some 4 feet tall ceramic planters as seen on FB Marketplace. I came home with the planters, AND the Baja. Once off-roaded in Upstate New York, and was then purchased by an Air Force pilot who brought it home to Georgia. Used as a real Baja I had the dirt in my hair to prove it the first time I drove it. I found it in primer, smelling like old dirt, and on tractor tires. During the last two and a half years I have painted it, installed authentic deep dish Baja steelies wrapped in new Cooper tires, rebuilt the brakes and suspension, and added a professional grade roll bar. The inside is properly spartan and ready for off road use. The motor case broke, and we are currently awaiting a replacement. The rest of the engine components are a year old and include new EMPI dual carbs and a brand new EMPI exhaust. Valves, guides, pistons, and other bits are all brand new. I would like to sell the Baja as is. Too many other projects to complete and I am losing the urge to bounce it off-road. Available with all the engine parts and uninstalled lighting for $7,000

I purchased this 1988 Z31 300ZX from the second owner the summer of 2024. An Illinois car since new, there is some rust on the front fenders. The under carriage and subframe are all in fantastic shape. The car runs and drives but has some needs. Engine compression is strong but the right thing to do is to completely reseal it - ALL the things - valve cover gaskets, cam seals, transmission pan, oil pan -and more. There is an after market exhaust on the car that is obnoxious. I plan on installing something milder. I have purchased OEM front fenders and will have them painted and installed. The Z is receiving new brakes at each corner, new tires, and the wheels will be refinished period correct charcoal with white letters for the "Z." The interior will receive a new headliner, rear hatch carpet, and an OE shift-knob. I've owned nine Z31's before this, and this one excites me the most. I hope to have it roadtrip and twisty road driving ready before Summer, 2026. If you can't wait that long, please email sash@sashdrives.com and let's make a deal and you build it in your vision with all of the parts I have acquired.
